Laverne Cox Goes Nude For Allure

Laverne Cox along with other actresses pose nude for Allure Magazine's annual nude portfolio. Laverne says, "I felt this could be really powerful for the communities that I represent. Black women are not often told that we're beautiful unless we align with certain standards. Trans women are certainly not told we're beautiful. Seeing a black transgender woman embracing and loving everything about herself might be inspiring to some other folks."

Last night was the GLAAD Manhattan Benefit at the Gansevoort Park Avenue Hotel in New York City. Celebs came out for this anti-bullying campaign charity event to celebrate the fashion industry as leaders of LGBT equality. Models, actors, and socialites were all dressed to impress at this event.
