Style Watch: The 3rd Annual Fostering A Legacy Benefit

Yesterday was the 3rd annual Fostering A Legacy Benefit for singer-songwriter Ne-Yo's charity organization, The Compound Foundation. Guests came together at the Gotham Hall in New York City to honor those involved in helping children in foster and group homes become future entrepreneurs. There were some fashionable ladies in attendance including, Ne-Yo's model girlfriend Crystal Renay, Lisa Price of Carol's Daughter, and singer Mila J. I have to say I absolutely loved Crystal's Cache gown!

During my interview with Lisa Price she shared advice for young female entrepreneurs, "Be passionate about what it is that you do. So whatever it is that you're doing for your business know that you have tons of passion behind it. Passion is what's going to keep you going forward. Know what it is that you bring to that industry that is unique and different and special and play upon that in your marketing. Whatever it is you do with your business be authentic. You have to be the one who sells it all the time and if you're not excited and thrilled about it, and if it doesn't feel honest to you, it's hard to do that. You might be able to fake it for a little while but not too long."
