The 'shirt tied around the waist' trend still has to be my favorite fashionable look. As we close out summer and head in to fall, we still see celebs rocking this popular 90s grunge trend, which made its comeback last year. Once the weather gets cooler you will see this look paired more with long sleeve shirts, beanies, fedoras, and leather jackets. This is the easiest look to master: simply tie a plaid shirt around your favorite shorts, jeans, or even a dress. Celebs like LeToya Luckett own this look and dress it up by wearing over-the-knee boots and accessorize it with a fashionable handbag. Are you a fan of this trend? Who is known as "one of the most promising designers from the Middle East"? Aiisha Ramadan is her name, and she's a Lebanese fashion designer that is taking over the industry by storm. She is the next big designer that you should keep on your radar. You've seen celebs such as Keri Hilson, Ashanti, LeToya Luckett, and Paris Hilton wearing pieces from one of her many collections. Recently Aiisha took time out of her busy schedule to grant me an interview.

BET Awards 2012

The BET Awards were live last night at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The award show was hosted by Samuel L. Jackson and was filled with great musical performances, a tribute to Whitney Houston, and a Lifetime Achievement Award given to Frankie Beverly featuring Maze. Of course the event was filled with glamorous people and sadly fashion misfits.
