It's all about mixing and matching trendy pieces with your favorite accessories and jewelry to make a fabulous outfit.

Black Ink Season 2 Premiere Party

Last night was the Season 2 Premiere Party for VH1's Black Ink Crew. It was held at the fairly new 9ANYC Kitchen & Lounge in Harlem. There was an open bar sponsored by Remy Martin VSOP and a live performance by musician Steelyone. Cast members Ceaser, Dutchess, Teddy, Walter, and Oh Sh!t were in attendance. Rihanna's been spotted for the past few days in NYC. She just had her Diamonds World Tour Concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Monday and has been seen dining out and spending time with her family.

Sometimes Less Is More

Everyone knows the saying, "Less is more". Well in some cases the less you accessorize the better. It's okay to keep it simple, especially if you're wearing something that has a pattern or a crazy design. So for today's look I kept everything minimal: cream colored lacey dress, black blazer, and black ankle boots. The only accessories I wore were my fashion watch and pearl studs.

I Love COLOR

Another gorgeous and fabulous Friday! I'm so loving the fact that it's spring and that the weather is beautiful. All I want to do is spend all of my free time outdoors. So today when I woke up extra happy and cheerful I wanted to wear bright and bold colors that matched my mood. It's all about color blocking! Sophisticated Hippie

So I went to visit family in Woodstock, NY today. You all know Woodstock, the town in upstate New York where the huge rock and roll concert was held in 1969. It was a three day event that was a defining moment in music history. I must have been channeling my inner hippie with the way I dressed today. Julissa E., my friend and fellow blogger of Anchors & Mannequins, said I was dressed like a "Sophisticated Hippie". "The hat and the blazer make your look otherwise it's just a tee with jeans." Blaze It Up

I love blazers and I have them in so many colors, styles, and lengths. Of course many of them came from my favorite store, Forever 21. I love them because they complete my outfits. Today my dress was simple and plain, so I spruced it up with a belt and a blazer.
